Carried. <br />l'otion by Backlin to give L'Allier authority to present the agreement <br />to Mr, Miller and negotiate to lower the purchase price, second by <br />Ross. Carried. <br />Mr. Locher stated Village Ordinance r3 embraces three state Statutes <br />controlling cars parked in streets hampering road maintenance. If <br />owners do not comply after notification for removal, the cars should <br />be tagged. <br />Mr. Gotwald reported the Richard Schuh bond check had been returned. <br />Gotwald and Bldg. Inspector Dupre stated r'Iiller Bros. were building <br />a house on an undersized lot in violation to the platting ordinance. <br />Gotwald had suggested Mr. iller attend the council meeting to se- <br />cure a needed variance. The engineer advised building permits stip- <br />ulate the Village is not responsible for drainage or other problems <br />incurred on building locations. Motion by Ross to grant Mr. Dupre <br />new building permit forme. Second by Domning. Carried. <br />i\\Ir. Ross stated "On Sale" liquor split fees should be paid on the <br />dead line. All fees should be paid as due. At license renewal <br />time, this subject will be reviewed. <br />This being i-Ir. Backlins's alst meeting in office, he was commended on <br />a fine job managing Village roads for the past 5 1/2 years. <br />Motion by Ross, second by Backlin to pay bills. Carried. Carried. <br />Al utefa cepted Jan. 9, 19.7 <br />Clerk <br />Special Meeting of the Lino Lakes Council called to order by Mayor <br />Domning, Sattrday, December 31, 1966. Members present were Backlin, <br />Zelinka, L'Allier. Ross absent. <br />It was mated by Domning, second by L'Allier, that Zelinka continue <br />to perform the full dutied of the Clerk's office until the first <br />meeting of January, 1967. Motion carried. <br />Discussion was held on the possible appointment of a road superin- <br />tendent. It was moved by Domning, second by L'Allier that Roy Back- <br />lin be hired as Road Superintendent at a salarjT of $100.+70 per month <br />beginning January 1, 1967, with truck driving, snow plowing of other <br />such labor performed to be billed in addition at the regular rates. <br />Domning, L'Allier and Zelinka voted " -ve ", Backlin declined to vote. <br />meeting adjourned at 12:00 noon. <br />Minutes = c epted Jan. 9, 1967 -Clerk <br />
