190 <br />The Lino Lakes council meeting of January 9, 1967 was called to <br />order at 8;00 P.M. by Mayor Domning. ,viembers present were; Rosen- <br />gren, Ross, L'Allier ca',c1 Bohjane. No clerk was present. <br />Mayor Domning moved that Sally M.chaild be sworn as temporary <br />clerk until Feb. 7, 1967. Second by Bohjanen. Carfied. Oath <br />was administered by Mr. Locher. <br />The oath of Office was then given by Locher to the new <br />Councilmen Bohjanen, L'Allier and Rosengren. <br />The MInutes of the previous meeting were read, accepted as correct <br />by all. <br />Minutes of the special meeting of Dec. 31, 1966 were read. Mayor <br />Domning motioned to approve hiring Roy Backlin as road supervisor at <br />A00.00 per month. Second by LIflier. Carried. <br />Appointments to offices,as follows, were made by the mayor(unless <br />otherwise indicated); <br />Acting Mayor; Ross. Second by Rosengren. Carried. <br />Civil Defence Director; Ken Bryant will remain pending further dis- <br />cussion. <br />T'eed Inspector; Ed Houle. Second by Ross. Carried, <br />Depository; Centennial Bank. Second by L'Allier. Carried. <br />Attornies; Babcock & Locher. Second by Ross. Carried. <br />Auditor; Tialdemar Hill. Secon4by Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Engineers; Milner-Carley, Geo Gotwald as representative. Second <br />by Ross. Carried. <br />Official Paper; Blaine Life. Motion by L'Allier, Second by Bohjanen, <br />"Aye", Donning. "Nays", Ross and Rosengren. Carried. <br />Dog Catcher; Bruce Fleming. Motion by Ross. Second by Bohjanen. <br />Carried. <br />Health Offices; Dr. 14idboe of Forest hake. Second L'Allier. Carried <br />Backlin was to call on Columbus for road work as in the past. Second <br />by L'Allier. Carried. <br />Salaries were discussed. Ross asked fro a special meeting to be held <br />on Jan. 16 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss wages. Second by Bohjanen, Carried. <br />Planning and Zoning Board was approved by resolution to consist of <br />the following members; <br />H.D. Heckenlaible 1 year <br />Arnold Kelling 1 year <br />Glen Rehbein 2 years <br />Ken Bryant 2 years <br />Chick Jester 2 years <br />Duane Klepel 3 years <br />Andrew Cardinal 3 years. <br />Second by L'Allier. Carried. <br />Motion by Ross that Mrs. Sarner be assessor at a salary of ,1,500.00 <br />per year. Second by Rosengren. Carried. <br />Permanent Clerk- Treasurer; pending further discussion and applica- <br />tions. Pirs. Zelinka will train a new clerk. <br />The regular business commenced with the councilmen's reports. <br />Al Ross; Nothing to report. No P&Z meetings were held. <br />Roy Backlin; All roads passable and being widened. Drifting <br />occurring. <br />
