r <br />191 <br />Ralph L'Allier; On Jan. 1, 1967, Mr. & Ms. signed a <br />6 month agreement to negotiate purchase of <br />32.58 acres at 500.00 per acre. <br />Hank Hosengren,..being new on the council, was asked to be laison <br />for Mr. Backlin <br />Bill Bohjane ; received solo appointment hr the faor to set up <br />a pre- Cahmber of Commerce type of commission to <br />promote the Village. <br />L'Allier requested volunteers to work with the Park AssociatLon. <br />Mr. Locher read a form to be ad( ed to he building permits to re- <br />lieve tha Village from drainage and building problems. 200 copies <br />are to be made, one of which is on file. <br />Motion by Domning to add this form to the nemite. Second hr <br />Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Locher reported on tentative planefor a Co. ntv Municinal Court. A <br />copy of this plan '-1.11 be sent to the councilmen by Locher. He had <br />nothing to report on the Rice Creek 'atershed. <br />Mr. Gotwald was asked to set a meeting date wit Centerville to <br />inform them of our plans for sewers. <br />Mr. Harold Goertz, Fire Chief of Lexngton, was asked to he pre- <br />sent at the special meeting on Jan. 15, to discuss costs and area <br />coverage of fire protection. <br />Ruth Rector asked from the floor, why a clerk hadn't been trained <br />as called for under plan "A". She also requested that •,he Civil <br />Defense director approval be made by the Civil Defense members. <br />The bills were examined. Move to pay bills by Boljjanen. Second <br />by Ross.
