194 <br />The councilmen then reported as follows: <br />Al Ross: hd the minutes of the Planning ad Zoning meeting of Jan 18 u <br />read aad approved. nominations for officers will be held at the Feb. <br />13 meeting. Duane Klepel will be Acting Secretary. Mr. john Nelson <br />& Mr. Gary Perry are to appear at the next P&Z Meeting in regard to <br />their rei}est concerning a trailer court. Mr. Heckenliable asked <br />the council for more stringent cooperation regarding the enforeement <br />of our ordinances, especialy #32, concerning cleanliness in the Village. <br />Mr. Ross moved that Surfside Inc. be allowed to use the Village Hall <br />for Flight Ground School. Second by Downing. Carried. <br />L'Allier asked to have a Ordinace set up to have a Park Board. This <br />board to have three members working at 1, 2 and 3 years respectively. <br />The following names were recommended: Al Thiltgren, Luther LeVasseur <br />ad Jay Cox. This was mde a motion by Ross. Second by Bohjanen. Carried <br />The Attorney was to set this in motion. <br />Rosengren resorted plowing is progressing well <br />received of poorly plowed roads, but they were <br />way gloving in emergency only, possibly upon a <br />tr uld be considered. <br />Engineer Gotwald reported on a proposed frontage road on the West side <br />of 35E, and submitted a preliminary plan for approval. Motion for <br />approval of the plan was made by Rosengren. Second by L'Allier. Carried <br />Bohjanen has been in contact with various business and professional <br />persons in working out a brochure for Village Business Development. <br />Mr. Locher stated our Village may legally hire a part time officer <br />of the peace at a set wage. <br />After discussion, Mr. Ross motioned to increase the following insurance: <br />Overall village liability from $100,000 to $300,000, <br />To eliminate Form 26103 - the "grey area" covering personnel <br />To insure the Sunrise Park buildings as follow: house- $3,000. barn - <br />$3,000, and the warrnizg house at $5,000. <br />This was seconded by L'Allier. Carried. <br />Insurance on the Village Hall for liability caused by any individual <br />who is authorized to enter the building to be $10,000. <br />This motion was made by Rosengren. Second by Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Personnel Board Ordinance #43, to be put into effect by Mr. Locher. <br />Motion by Bohjanen. Second by L'Allier. Carried. <br />Clerk applications are being taken: forms available from Mrs. Michaud. <br />These applications are to be received by the end of January. There will <br />be a special meeting on Feb. 6th at 7:100 PM to approve a clerk. <br />Centennial JCs asked for our Village cooperation in regard to their <br />projects and members. Domning moved that we cooperate with them. <br />Sec--nded by Bohjanen. Carried. Bohjanen as then named as laison <br />r. ith them by Mr. Domning. <br />Business from the floor: Peter Scherer requested that minutes of <br />previous meetings be provided to persons attending meetings. This <br />was discussed, and will be taken up at a later date. <br />The bills were examined and a motion was made to pay all except <br />Municipal Court pending investigation of its unusual amount. Motion <br />by Domning. Second by Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Ross motioned to adiourn at 10:30 PM. Domning seconded. Carried <br />. Complints have been <br />the county roads.
