199 <br />Mr. L'Allier asked that Mr. Raylour Insurance Agent, be invitd to <br />tell us just what we have insured. <br />Mr. Ross appointed Andrew Cardinal as liaison officer to the Planning <br />Board, <br />Mr. Locher reported he wrote letter to Attorney General for ruling <br />having to do with Clerk's appointment. Mr. Bohjanen requested <br />reading. Mr. L'Allier stated nothing couldbe accomplished. Letter <br />was not read. <br />Mr. Raymond reported in December 1966 car travelled 1084 miles and <br />took 67 calls. In January 1967, car travelled 766 miles and took <br />46 calls. <br />Business from the floor requested. Mr. Jaworski stated that as long <br />as the Village had to pay Mr. Locher for the letter it should be read. <br />Mr. L'Allier suggested the letter was not necessary and we should let <br />it die. Mr. Locher said he believed the Attorney General wouE not <br />make a ruling since Lino Lakes resolved its own problem. Mr. Bohjanen <br />said he wanted it to be clear that onlyone member of the council <br />could request an Attorney General's ruling. <br />Mrs. Vernon Anderson expressed the thanks of the Downing family for <br />the services rendered by the Council. She asked Mr. Ross to comment <br />on his serving as mayor. Mr. Ross stated he would not be a candidate <br />for the year of 1968. <br />Ruth Rector asked who was phoning in stories to the papers. No one <br />knew who phoned the Minneapolis Paper, however, the St. Paul Paper <br />has been calling the Clerk. <br />Bills were presented by Clerk. Motion made and seconded that all <br />bills be paid as rendered. Motion passed unanimously. Motion to <br />adjourn made and seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
