The regular meeting of the Village of Lino Lakes was called to order <br />at 8:00 PM March 13, 1967, with all members present. <br />The minutes of the February 27th meeting were read. Motion made by <br />Mr. Rosengren to approve minutes as read. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />The milutes of the March 2nd special meeting were read. Motion made <br />by Mr. Bohjanen to approve minutes as read. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />The Clerk read a letter from Columbus Township stating the rate for <br />grader work will be increased April 1, 1967 to $12.00 per hour. <br />Mr. Gotwald <br />that we pay <br />Seconded by <br />A letter was <br />Lino Lakes. <br />felt that this was in order. Mr. Rosengren made a motion <br />the $12.00 per hour rate for work done by Columbus. <br />Mr. Ross. Motion carried unanimously. <br />read from AT&T regarding the tower to be errected in <br />Mr. Locher read the amended Beer Ordinance, <br />Mr. L'Allier reported on meeting he attended in Anoka on March 4th <br />on the Sunday Closing Bill. <br />Mr. L'Allier reported on the revenue bond billpassed by the House. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that Lino Lakes goes on record to ask <br />our legislative representatives to approve this bill. Seconded by <br />Mr. Bohjanen. 'otion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier discussed the Split Liquor Bill and informed the Council <br />that the various municipalities and legislators went on record favoring <br />that bill. <br />Mr. L'Allier reported that a Salvage Yard has sprung up on Sunrise. <br />Mr. Ross said he will turn this over to our Police Dept. <br />Mr. Ross ad Mr. L'Allier stated they were in touch with the Forest <br />Lake School Board regarding property on Hwys 8 & 242 which they wished <br />to secure for a Village Park. <br />Mr. L'Allier reported on the amended Municipal Court Bill. Mr. L'Allier <br />made a motion that we go on record opposing the amended Municipal <br />Court Bill and go on record su porting additional judges for the <br />District Court. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Rosengren reported the fire extinguishersmre serviced and Mr. <br />Ross requested that the Clerk notify :Ir. Ray. <br />A letter was read by Mr. Rosengren from Mr. Joe Michaud about his <br />custom sign post being destroyed by the snow plow and asked for $25.00 <br />to cover. Mr. Ross said the letter should be sent to Mr. Ray, our <br />insurance age t, with a copy of our letter also going to Mr. Michaud. <br />Mr. Rosengren read a petition from residents served by County Road 54 <br />asking for an emergency exit. It was decided to discuss this later on <br />in the meeting. <br />
