2.13 <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated all of the ordinances, map and Information Guide would be <br />ready for distribution at the end of the week. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated Mr. J.D. McKay, Fiald Representative of Business and Industrial <br />Service, State of Minn., would speak at their C&BDC meeting May 3rd at 8:00 PM. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated he had some requests for street lights in the Village. Mayor <br />Ross said the list should be turned over to Henry Rosengren. <br />Mr. Cardinal had a letter read regarding some street lights from Pete Scherer. , Mr. <br />Ross stated that the Village Council will be checking on all lighting in the Village. <br />Mr. Rosengren reported on the securing of a gasoline tank in the Village to be in- <br />stalled underground. He was requested by Mayor Ross to secure more bids. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated he was requested by the residents in the Hwy 49 and Linda St. <br />area for a culvert to eliminate water standing and causing a hazard. Nr. Rosengren <br />stated he °would contact the State of Minnesota. <br />Mr. Rosengren stated there was an eye -sore garage on 6965 Sunrise and asked if some- <br />thing cou7_d be done ,o remove it. Mx. Dupre said Lha t '_le tried to do something before <br />gut the owner was in The Veterans Hospital. Pv1r. L'Allier made a motion that Mr. <br />Locher handle this problem. Mr. Rosengren seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Locher stated he would checkinto the gas tax paid in the past by Lino Lakes. <br />Mr. Bohjanen suggested that the Village also secure some type of time clock for the <br />employees in the Village.' <br />Mr. Cardinal had a letter read from the P&Z Board stating that they were against any <br />dump in the Village unless approved by all owners around such a project. <br />Mr. Neil Banta and Mr. Clyde Rehbein's proposal for sub - diving land was discussed <br />by Mr. Cardinal. Mr. Cardinal made a motion that Mr. Banta and Mr. Rehbein be per- <br />mitted to sub - divide their land according to the sketch furnished in accordance with <br />variance of Ordinance 21 -A as allowed therein and that they must make provisions so <br />that vehicles would not back out on the County Hwy as requested by County Officials <br />and that the Village of Lino Lakes bp- furnished a final survey of the sub - divided <br />lots. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Paul Videen spoke again in his behalf regarding the roads in the Oak Lane area. <br />Members of the Council felt that his proposal that the Village black -top his area and <br />assess the cost against the eventual owners by an assessment bond would tie up our <br />bonding power. Mr. Bohjanen suggested that we defer action at this time and seek <br />other avenues to satisfy the Council and Mr. Videen. Mr. Cardinal made a motion that <br />the Council give Mr. Videen's proposal more study and he should appear back before the <br />P&Z and he should also have the Village Engineer look over the land for more outlets. <br />Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Ray Jonna oii W66 introduced and he spoke to all present about the Metro bills and <br />other bills concerning our area. A question and answer period followed. <br />Mr. Blaylock gave a short report on the Circle Pines Utility Commission. <br />Mr. Lee Robinson presented a plot to the Council for consideration. Mr. L'Allier <br />made a motion that Mr. Robinson appear before the P&Z Board and also contact the <br />Engineer. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
