2-22 <br />Mr. L'Allier stated the sign material was donated by Elsworth Rehbein and the Miller Bros. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that thank you letters be sent to the Park Board Association, <br />Inc., Elwworth Rehbein & Son, Dennis Mauseth, Miller Bros., the VFW and the CD. Seconded <br />by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Locher informed the Council of the square dance organization's plans to use our <br />parks system for camping during their convention. He stated possible instances where a <br />bond is necessary as provided by ordinance of Lino Lakes. Mr. L'Allier made a motion <br />that the Village of Lino Lakes require from this organization a $10,000.00 bond for the <br />Friday, Saturday and Sunday affair. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier stated that they would like to have a bonfire in the evenings. Mr. L'Allier <br />made a motion that they be permitted to have a bonfire in the park, and that they secure <br />a permit from the fire marshal and follow his recommendation. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated the C&BDC has selected a queen to represent the Lino Lakes business- <br />men. Her name is Laurel Miller. He further stated that Mr. Joseph Huber will donate <br />some signs for the car and he will also check on some entrance signs for the Village. <br />Mr. Bohjanen reported that he attended a Forest Lake School Board meeting and the Board <br />stated that they would be putting up the land on Hwys 8 and 24 for sale. <br />Mr. Rosengren reported that MI-. Lundheim stated the County will build a service road on <br />west side of Freeway between County Rd 14 and Main and that the property owners will <br />donate the property. <br />Mr. Rosengren reported that they will do more ditching on Linda. <br />Mr. Rosengren stated that the Freeway contractor has a special man who will have the <br />blowing sand cleaned up in the yards along the Freeway to the satisfaction of the owners. <br />Mr. Cardinal stated that he has received a complaint that an accident was caused near <br />Hwy 326 possibly due to the fast speed over the bridge on Hwy 8 and the absence of No <br />Passing signs in that area. Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the Clerk write a letter to <br />the State of Minnesota that on Hwy 8 going north to the bridge before Hwy 326 No Pass- <br />ing signs be erected on south side of bridge. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Locher stated the provision for Sunday Liquor. Mr. L'Allier made a motion that PO <br />check on Sunday Liquor at their next meeting. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion <br />carried unanimously. Mr. Locher stated if possible Lino Lakes should hold off until <br />their November elections and this would keep the cost to the Village down. <br />Mr. Locher read a letter to the Village of Lino Lakes enclosing the Comprehensive Commer- <br />cial Policy with the premium of $725.90. Mr. Locher also read an exclusion to the policy <br />and recommended the Clerk be given permission to sign this exclusion. Motion made by <br />Mr. Bohjanen that the Clerk be instructed to sign the exclusion to the policy as defined <br />by Mr. Locher. Seconded by M. Cardinal. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Locher stated he talked to Dr. Bulinski about land he owns on Hwy 49 and Dr. Bulinski <br />said he has tried to keep people out but was unsuccessful. He stated that the 106 acres <br />were for sale. <br />Mr. Ross stated he talked to Dr. Geltman at the Treatment Center and was informed that <br />the State authorized 18 positions at the Treatment Center; however, Dr. Geltman did not <br />now what positions they were. <br />Mr. Ross stated that for the month of May the Police traveled 1609 miles. Also Ur. <br />Ratnond and Mr. West each had 77 hours and Mr. Myhre had 59 1/2 hours. They 01$0 <br />covered 6 medical emergencies and accidents. <br />
