Cartied unanimously. <br />The motion to adjourn was made by Mr. L'Allier at 4:10 PM. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />cl/ — , <br />Minutes approved Meeting of July 10th, 1967. / /LA/--t Clerk. <br />The regular meeting of the Village of Lino Lakes was called to order at 8:00 PM July 10th. <br />Members present were Alfred Ross, Henry Rosengren, William Bohjanen and Andrew Cardinal. <br />Ralph L'Allier was absent due to his being on vacation. <br />Minutes of the June 26th meeting were read; minutes from the Board of Equalization dated <br />June 27th and minutes from Special Meeting dated July 1st were read. Motion made by Mr. <br />Bohjanen to accept minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />Letter from the State Engineer read regarding the hazard on Hwy 8 and Hwy 326. Mr. Ross <br />asked Mr. Rosengren to check to see if a street light is needed at this intersection. <br />Certificate read from County Assessor stating Mrs. Sarner completed assessing in the <br />Village of Lino Lakes. Mr. Rosengren made a motion to file the certificate. Seconded by <br />Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />C&BDC minutes read. Mr. Bohjanen asked that the program to study roads in the Village <br />start as soon as possible. Mr. Ross asked Mr. Cardinal to take up at the next meeting of <br />the P&Z on July 19th. Mr. Cardinal stated he would do this. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked that the grass at Lino Park be cut. Mr. Juleen stated from the floor <br />that Lino Lakes did not have the proper equipment. Mr. Bohjanen made a motion that Mr. <br />Rosengren and Mr. Juleen rent the needed equipment if necessary and have the grass at <br />the ball park cut. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren said he would have gravel hauled now as the contractor was not so busy. <br />Mr. Bohjanen made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes secures gravel as it needs <br />within reason. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. The road budget for the year <br />was stated at $26,000. <br />Rolling Hills Drive was discussed by Mr. Rosengren and Mr. Gotwald. Motion made by Mr. <br />Bohjanen that the Village of Lino Lakes puts gravel, has biading done and does draining on <br />Rolling Hills Drive estimated at $1,166.00. Seconded by M. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren and Mr. Gotwald discussed Bald Eagle Blvd. Mr. Bohjanen made a motion to <br />fix up Bald Eagle Blvd. in two parts; ie, this year doing everything necessary up to <br />1 1/2 inch plant mix surface and then in 1968 putting the surface on--work this year to <br />cost approximately $3,500.00. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren and Mr. Gotwald discussed 80th, 54th and 64th. Mr. Rosengren asked if any- <br />thing could be done to have the Baldwin Lake Trailer Court fix up the roads in the court. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that Mr. Locher write the owners of the court asking them to <br />fix up roads. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />It was stated that Mr. Morrison did not pay the $40.00 for the start of his special use <br />permit. It was felt that this was an oversight on his part and the clerk was instructed <br />to call him. <br />Mr. Locher was asked to get the fees from the different insurance companies relative to <br />having special one-day licenses for selling beer. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Cardinal that the Village of Lino Lakes charge $25.00 per variance <br />
