23." <br />Mr. Rosengren explained the costs of putting a fence around the water in our holding pond. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that Mr. Rosengren be authorized to purchase the materials <br />needed estimated to be approximately $225.00 and have it erected by Village employees. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />IIIMr. Rosengren made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes ask for bids to cut alongside <br />of 38 miles of roadway in the Village and that the ad be put in the Forest Lake Times, <br />the Blaine Life and the Circulating Pines. Cutting is scheduled for the week of August <br />14th. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren discussed a non - profit organization which plans to construct a recreation <br />area in the Village. Mr. Locher stated that Ord. No. 6 should be given to them. <br />Mr. Bohjanen made a motion that Mr. Gotwald contact the Hwy Engineer to pave part of a <br />Mr. Matte's driveway near the Sunset -Elm- Freeway overpass since the State extended his <br />driveway. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that Mr. Locher write a letter to the property owners of the <br />tagged bldgs on Rolling Hills Drive to have them removed. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Gustafson of Mpls. stepped forward to show pictures of a home he wished to move into <br />Lino Lakes on Main Street. Mr. Cardinal stated the P&Z approved his request. Mr. Cardi- <br />nal made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes grant a moving permit to Mr. Gustafson <br />with the stipulation that Mr. Dupre and Mr. Gotwald inspect the home and that he must <br />comply with all ordinances and setbacks. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal stated that the P&Z approved the request of Mr. Boris Alexjew for a variance <br />on his property. Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes grant a vari- <br />ance to Mr. Alexjew on the following described property: <br />The South 360' of the East 400' of the West 1100' of the NW 1/4 <br />of SW 1/4 all in Section 31, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Floyd Miller requested a variance and since he had not appeared before the P&Z the <br />following motion was made by Mr. L'Allier, ie, that a variance be granted to Mr. Floyd <br />Miller on the following described property and that he gets approval from the P&Z at <br />their next meeting: <br />That part of the NW quarter of the SW quarter of Section 3, Township 31 <br />North, Range 22 West, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the west quarter corner of said Section 3, thence South 0 °00', <br />assuming bearing, along the west line of said Section 3 a distance of 208.7 <br />feet; thence East 0 °00', 414 feet to the Center line of an existing drainage <br />ditch; thence northerly, along said ditch center line 211 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of intersection with the east -west quarterline of said Section <br />3; thence westerly, along said quarterline, 429 feet to the point of begin- <br />ning. The above described tract contains 2.0 acres, more or less, and is <br />subject to Rondeau Road West, along the west line thereof. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes approves Messrs. Dennis Houle, <br />Harold Lehman, Arnold Kelling, Glenn Rehbein and James Cox to a road study committee. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Vote as follows: Mr. Bohjanen Nay - -rest of Council Aye. <br />IIIMr. Locher stated he wrote to Mr. Olson about starting to build his home on Hwy 8. Mrs. <br />Olson stated that they will not be able to build for 6 weeks and Mr. Ross stated that <br />Mr. Olson should appear at the net regular meeting. <br />Mr. Pete Scherer spoke on road conditions in the Village. <br />Mr. Jerome Boyd asked Mr. Gotwald regarding the road at East Rondeau Lake Rd. <br />
