GAG- <br />Ken Bryant presented to the Villge of Lino Lakes the trophy that the CD won at the 4th <br />of July parade. Mayor Ross accepted for the Village. <br />Mr. Bohjanen made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes approves the purchase of rain- <br />coats and jackets by the CD. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Village of Lino Lakes writes a second letter to the III <br />State of Minn. to put up speed limit signs and correct road conditions for the road <br />adjacent to 35W. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Ron Jaworski asked if the Village should not draw up an ordinance to protect home <br />owners when contractors are repairing their homes. Mr. Locher was instructed to check <br />into an ordinance of this type. <br />Dumps in the County were discussed. Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Clerk draw up <br />a letter to the County Commissioners with copies to surrounding villages to see if it is <br />now feasible to locate a land -fill dump in some area aecessable to all the villages. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Dennis Houle suggested a new way of paying bills which was adopted as follows: Mr. <br />L'Allier made a motion that bills to be paid by the Village on the first meeting of the <br />month must be in the hands of the Treasurer by the first Tuesday of the month and that <br />bills to be paid the last meeting of the month must be in the hands of the Treasurer by <br />the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Also that this plan be tried for several months to see if <br />it is feasible. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />Letter from St. Joseph's Church read requesting a beer license for their annual chicken <br />dinner and a yearly bingo permit. Mr. L'Allier made a motion that St. Joseph's Church be <br />given a one -day beer license and a yearly bingo permit. <br />Motion made at 11:30 PM by Mr. Bohjanen to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal.
