Gunderson 68.40 <br />Minutes accepted meeting of August 28, 1967. <br />Clerk <br />The regular meeting of the Village of Lino Lakes was called to order at 8:00 PM August III <br />28, 1967, with all members present. <br />The minutes of the August 14th meeting were read. Mr. L'Allier made a motion to apprae <br />the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />An application for off -sale 3.2 beer license was read. Mr. Rosengren made a motion to <br />approve the license. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier asked the Clerk to check on any tax - forfeited land in the Village that is <br />available for a park. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Village direct a letter to Mr. Paul Velz, Road <br />Design Engineer, John Ireland Blvd., St. Paul, with carbon copy to Mr. McCubrey, District <br />Engineer, 1246 University Ave., St. Paul, Minn., requesting a copy of the preliminary <br />sign plan for our perusal, also asking that before the sign plan is finalized that both <br />35E and 35W be equipped with signs to show the turn offs for Lino Lakes and also the <br />Village limits. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that we install Slow signs on 4th Ave. and that a letter be <br />directed to the Youth Center asking for the cooperation of all employees not to exceed <br />speed limits, and while they are named specifically in a complaint we are asking for <br />cooperation from everyone. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that Mr. Locher be instructed to contact Mr. Gallagher at the <br />Attorney Generals Office and take necessary steps to set up an additional polling place <br />on the east side of the Village. Also as this is not covered in the budget, find out <br />the cost of it. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked Mr. Gotwald if he heard anything on the Hwy 8 and 326 hazard. Mr. <br />Gotwald stated at the present time he has heard nothing further. <br />
