Mr. L'Allier made a motion that a new map showing parks, commercial areas and freeways <br />along with a pie- shaped tax breakdown be approved with Mrs. Sally Michaud doing the work <br />free but the Village reimbursing her for the supplies. Also, at Mr. Bohjanen's sugges- <br />tion, that the window sign be dressed up in the Village Hall at the same time. Also, <br />that the Clerk or Deputy Clerk be authorized to get letters and post the next Village <br />meeting on the bulletinboard. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />The owners of the Baldwin Lake Trailer Court appeared and stated that the roads were <br />now fixed up. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Village Engineer and Mr. Rosengren be authorized to <br />check Oak Lane for a cost estimate and that the petition be turned over to the Clerk. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren stated that 4th Ave. should have load limit signs. Mr. L'Allier made a <br />motion that the Village of Lino Lakes goes on record that any load signs which don't <br />state axle wdight will be considered as axle weight and that all future signs will show <br />axle weight. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren and Mr. Gotwald will check the overpass at Rondeau Lake. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the three culverts requested be installed at $50.00 per <br />culvert and that effective the 29th of August all requests for culverts will be on new <br />cost basis plus installation with set figure to be supplied later on. Seconded by Mr. <br />Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Personnel Commission report of all Village equipment, <br />IIIincluding the pickup, being stored at the Village 'Hall should exclude police car and <br />equipment. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried with Mr. Rosengren abstaining. <br />A motion was made by Mr. Rosengren to install a street light in front of the Village <br />Hall, also to contact Mr. Ludwig for light at back end of lot to be hooked up to the <br />Village Hall lighting system. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the Clerk should write a letter to Mr. Roy Houle that <br />he be notified that as well as being a State Fire Warden that he is now appointed a <br />Village Fire Warden and that residents of the Village of Lino Lakes can still get burn- <br />ing permits. Also that the newspapers should state that the Council would like to <br />receive names for a State Fire Warden to take Mr. Rosengren's place. Seconded by Mr. <br />Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />Minutes of the P&Z Board were read. <br />A meeting of the P&Z and Village officials will be held on Thursday the 31st to meet <br />with Mr. Forrest Tagg to look over the proposed donation of land for a Village Hall. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that Mr. Duane Kiepel be appointed chairman of a committee <br />of 3 or 4 individuals of his selection to sit down with Mr. Dupre and that they follow <br />through on minograph letter setting forth house numbers for each home and farm in the <br />Village and the home owners be requested to display their number on the mail box and <br />tell on the letter what fire department to call. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />IIIMr. Rosengren made a motion that the Auxiliary of the CD be granted a one -day permit for <br />the sale of 3.2 beer on Sept. 10th. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that Mr. Locher be authorized to look into an ordinance to <br />protect home owners in the Village but to forego drafting one until we check in the <br />Green River Ordinance. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />
