IIIA special meeting of the Village Council was called to order at 9:50 PM on November 15, <br />1967, with Mayor Ross, Mr. Bohjanen and Mr. Cardinal present. However, <br />the residents present declined to sign the petition because df the wording. <br />Mr. Bohjanen made a motion that the Deputy Clerk call the Attorney to have him rewrite <br />the petition dropping the words "that there has never been a dedication to or acceptance <br />thereof by the Village of Lino Lakes," that the Deputy Clerk would return this new copy <br />to Mr. Bohjanen, who would personally take the petition to the residents concerned for <br />study. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Following discussion of the P&Z Board's recommendation to refuse Mr. George Loss' request <br />to move a motel into the Village, Mr. Cardinal made a motion to accept the recommendation <br />of the P&Z Board on the request to move the motel. Seconded by Mr. Ross. Vote: Mr. <br />Cardinal and Mr. Ross Aye; Mr. Bohjanen No. Carried. <br />Discussion of the responsibilities of the P&Z for future planning of Lino followed. <br />Mr. Duane Kiepel suggested that the secretary of the P&Z draw up an agenda before each <br />P&Z meeting and notify the public of the same. <br />IIIMr. Cardinal made a motion to adjourn at 10:25 PM.
