2oJ'" <br />P&Z minutes of their regular November meeting were read. Messrs. B.W. and Leo Harris <br />would like to develop the SW corner of 35E and Main St. into a shopping center but would <br />like to build apartments first. The Village of Lino Lakes will write a letter to Messrs. <br />IIIB.W. and Leo Harris thanking them for their interest in working with our Village and in- <br />struct them that while it is not necessary to cheek with Centerville to get residents' <br />approval it would be a good idea; also that we will continue to work with them. <br />Mrs. LeTourneau of County Road J discussed a plan to develop some of her land into a <br />kiddie park and she will keep in touch with the P&Z. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the P&Z of Lino Lakes should check with the League of <br />Municipalities and other villages regarding residential buildings in commercial areas and <br />extension of bldg permits. Seconded by Mr. Roaengren. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Warner of Rolling Hills Drive appeared before the Council regarding the clea <br />of the Leo Peppin property and told the Council of the progress they have made. <br />formed them that there were three cars that were still mortgaged and could not be <br />They are: '60 Ford station wagon, '41 Chev truck and a '60 Ford sedan which belo <br />the Phalen State Bank. She stated that most of the inside of the house had been <br />water and sewer were working and that the outside of the house will be painted in the <br />spring. Also that the yard will be fixed up in the spring and the steps on the cottage <br />were being removed to prevent a serious accident by unauthorized personnel. <br />Mr. Ross reported that the police dept for Oct.put on 1192 miles. Mr. Raymond had 66 hrs., <br />Mr. West 61 1/2 hours and Mr. Myhre 47 1/4 hours. <br />Mr. Dupre has informed Mr. Ross that 3/4 of the house numbering was completed. <br />. Harold Hansen informed the Council that his road off the Freeway service road of 35E <br />ould need grading and snowplowing in the future as he had sold his equipment and would <br />no longer continue the Maintenance he had done in the past. Mr. Ross stated that the road <br />to the best of his knowledge was not dedicated. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that we check with the County to see if the road into Mr. Han - <br />sen's had ever been accepted by the Village and draw up an agreement similar to that drawn <br />up for Maple. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. West stated that Mr. Warren LeMire has cleaned up most of his lot on Main Street. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that we remove the bldg on Lot 17 Block 5 across from the Park <br />and that the cost be placed against the property with the understanding that we will get <br />our money back when the land is sold. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />The second December meeting will be held on the 26th rather than the 25th (Christmas). <br />Mr. Gotwald stated that the first phase of contruetion of Nancy Dr. and Vicki La. was on <br />a 5 -year basis and that the Council should hold hearings in early 1968 on the second <br />phase (to the best recollection of the Engineer). The builders and homeowners involved <br />should be present at these hearings. <br />A complaint was made regarding the property of Mr. Roland Ford on Hwy 49. Mr. Ross <br />informed the Constables that they should check on this again. <br />IIIMr. Locher was instructed to check on Village ordinances regarding garbage cans and regular <br />garbage pickup; also to check on ordinances regarding the number of horses which could be <br />kept on 5 acres of land, per request of Mr. West to the Council. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion to adjourn at 10:20 PM. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />
