Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the Village Engineer be given permission to print road <br />maps requested by the P&Z. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal stated that the NW Saddle Club was intending to purchase property from <br />Mrs. Domning and stated that he could find nothing in P&Z minutes or Village minutes <br />regarding permission given NW Saddle to build an arena and club house. Mr. Ross <br />stated he could not remember any permission given, and stated further that NW Saddle <br />should come before the P&Z with plans for this 39 acre piece of land, <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the Village purchase a date and time stamp for both <br />Clerk and Deputy Clerk. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion that the Village purchase a good minute book to be kept <br />at the Village Hall. Seconded by Mr. L'Allier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Locher presented a copy of the Health, Safety and Sanitation Ord. and of the Ord. <br />regulating the keeping of certain animals and fowl on 5 acres of land from St. Francis <br />and other villages to the Council. He also reported he is working on the new plumbing <br />code. <br />Mr. Rosengren asked if the Village was considering a snowmobile ordinance; the Council <br />felt they would wait for further developments of other villages. <br />Mr. Kenneth Bryant gave a report of the activities of the CD and a list of accomplish- <br />ments during the year 1967. <br />Mr. L'Allier made a motion that the jobs of Clerk - Treasurer and Deputy Clerk be <br />advertised again in the papers with a deadline for applications of Jan. 4, 1968, <br />and that the salaries of $1,800 per year for Clerk- Treasurer and $2.35 per hour <br />for Deputy Clerk be also included. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Houle spoke on the Forest Lake Hospital and told of the amount of $57,000.00 <br />over and above the bond issue, being still owed, and that this amount could be made <br />up in the next two years. <br />Mr. Bruce Fleming, the Village Animal Control Officer, thanked the Council for the <br />cooperation of the past year. <br />Mr. Ross stated that the new valuation of the Village of Lino Lakes is $935,737 and <br />that the mil rate had been reduced over 4 mills and that the Village has taken full <br />advantage of the sales tax. Mr. Ross thanked all the members of the Council and the <br />Village workers for their cooperation during his term as Mayor. <br />Motion made by Mr. Rosengren to adjourn at 10:10 PM.
