1
1
CITY OF LINO LAKES
CITY COUNCIL WORKS- SESSION
MINUTES
DATE: 20 MAY 1992
TIME: 5:00 P.M.
MEMBERS
PRESENT: REINERT, ELLIOTT, NEAL, KUETHER, BERGESON
MEMBERS
ABSENT: NONE
OTHERS
PRESENT: SCHUMACHER, SCHNEIDER, ASLESON, VOLK, WYLAND, TESCH
INTERIM USE PERMITS:
Ms. Wyland informed the City Council of a situation at 7080 Lake Drive which had
recently been brought to the attention of city hall. This property is zoned General
Business, which makes the homes in this area existing, permitted, non - conforming
uses. This would allow the business to operate, and the
owner to reside in the home given either a specific time period, or
improvement /change of the home.
AL ROBINSON - GOLF COURSE:
Mr. Al Robinson came to the Council work session looking for endorsement in concept
of his creating a golf course on land he owns in the city. He stated that the land is
too low for housing, and would be suitable for designation as a green area. Staff
would examine the requirements needed. In the mean time, the Council requested
that Mr. Robinson attend the next Park Board meeting to determine if a golf course
would be in line with their park guidelines.
DRAINAGE SITUATION - SHERWOOD GREEN, LOTS 7 & 8:
Building Inspector Kluegel has noted that four to five hundred yards of peat had been
