60 <br />COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 3, 1992 <br />meeting the Chairman suggested that things did go better with <br />Lino Lakes Council Members present. The meeting was more orderly <br />and there was less finger pointing. The Chairman suggested that <br />Lino Lakes Council Members attend future meetings. <br />Mr. Schumacher said he had suggested that the Consolidation <br />Committee use the information developed for the annexation <br />hearing. However, to date there has been no decision on this <br />matter. <br />Council Member Bergeson said that the Consolidation Committee <br />Chairman suggested a small stipend for each committee member for <br />all the aggravation they are experiencing. <br />Agenda - The City Council considered items on the June 8, 1992 <br />agenda. <br />Item 2F - Council Member Bergeson asked if the City Engineer was <br />still working on an alternate plan for the Marvy Street <br />residents. Mr. Schneider said that he had asked the <br />residents to submit a proposal. He is also going to <br />Anoka County one (1) more time to see if one (1) more <br />access could be approved. <br />Council Member Kuether asked if her idea of extending <br />the access roads further north to allow for additional <br />lot splitting was getting further consideration. Mr. <br />Schneider said that the residents are not willing to <br />pay more in assessments and it may not be workable to <br />change drainage. He noted that the residents have been <br />pretty cooperative in this matter. <br />Item 7A - It was explained that the proposed Robinson golf course <br />was not in conflict with the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Item 7C - Establishing terms for the Economic Development <br />Authority Advisory Board. Council Member Bergeson <br />asked that if terms are established, they be <br />consistent. Council Member Kuether asked why terms <br />should be established. Council Member Bergeson asked <br />if terms were not established, what would be the <br />process of removing some one who is not functioning? <br />Mr. Schumacher suggested that all terms be three (3) <br />years beginning at January 1. <br />The work session adjourned at 6:47 P.M. <br />These minutes were considered, corrected and accepted at a <br />PAGE 5 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
