1
1
1
COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 8, 1992
Black Duck Estates - Mr. Schneider explained that the developer
of Black Duck Estates is already working in the subdivision. He
noted that during the public hearing`on this subdivision, the
surrounding residents were told that there would be a
neighborhood meeting to let them know what the design is and also
what the schedule is. The purpose of the neighborhood meeting is
to set up lines of communications between the residents and City
Staff.
Utilities Infill Policy - Mr. Schneider has prepared a draft of
the policy for new development. One part of the policy states
that all new subdivisions be located within the MUSA. Another
portion of the policy states that the City will not subsidize new
development. Subdivisions such as Amelia Lake Estates may be
charged higher rates because if may cost more to maintain these
systems.
Agenda - The City Council reviewed the draft agenda.
The work session was adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the
regular Council meeting held on August 10, 1992.
11 1(01A '71 1-- 4(c 4,9
Mar ly G.
