COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 9, 1992 Mr. Schneider explained that there is a need for ditch maintenance north of Main Street. A resident has offered to do the work at no cost provided a survey and a plan is prepared by the City and bench marks established. An agreement would be completed between the resident and the City. Mayor Reinert asked if the City has a ditch maintenance plan? Mr. Schneider said no however, there is a plan to do a ditch maintenance plan. Mayor Reinert asked why the concern about this particular area? Mr. Schneider said because the City has received an offer to do the work at no cost to the City. Mayor Reinert asked that a plan for paying for the surveying work be prepared and presented to the City Council. MOUND TRAIL IMPROVEMENT Mr. Volk explained that the City of Centerville has asked for bids to overlay the portion of Mound Trail located in the City of Centerville. The very west end of the street is in Lino Lakes and there are two (2) residences in this area. The City of Centerville is stopping the project 650 feet short of completing the entire street. Mr. Volk explained that he is concerned because the portion of Mound Trail in Lino Lakes is in very bad condition. In addition, the Lino Lakes residents are not willing to sign a petition for the improvement because they feel that maintaining the street is an obligation of the City. Mr. Volk was instructed to talk to the City of Centerville regarding the cost of completing the overlay of the entire Mound Trail. AGENDA All items on the proposed agenda for September 14, 1992 were discussed. The work session was adjourned at 7:00 P.M.
