150 <br />COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 26, 1993 <br />September 28, 1992. A development contract was signed on March <br />11, 1993 and a final grading plan was submitted February 23, <br />1993. All financial guarantees are in place and construction is <br />proceeding. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to approve the final plat of Park <br />Grove as submitted. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Final Plat Review, Brandywood Estates, III - The Brandywood <br />Estates, Third Addition received preliminary plat approval from <br />the Park Board and Planning and Zoning Board on May 9, 1990 and <br />from the City Council on August 13, 1990. This addition contains <br />33 lots and is located on the southern boundary of Brandywood <br />Estates. A development contract was signed on March 16, 1993 and <br />the grading plan was submitted March 1, 1993. Financial <br />guarantees are in place to cover the construction of the plat. <br />City staff have reviewed the final plat documents and recommend <br />approval of the final plat. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to approve the final plat of <br />Brandywood Estates, Third Addition as submitted. Council Member <br />Bergeson seconded the motion. Council Member Neal asked how <br />streets are named because it appeared that some names on this <br />plat are similar to street names in other parts of the City. <br />This can cause confusion for emergency vehicles. Ms. Wyland <br />explained how streets are named and explained that the streets in <br />this plat are continuation of streets from the Brandywood Estates <br />first and second additions. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />FIRST READING, Ordinance 93 - 06 Amending Subdivision Ordinance <br />by Requiring Delineation of Wetlands in Preliminary Plat Data <br />Requirements - City staff has determined that a wetland <br />delineation at the time of submittal of preliminary plat <br />information will aid in the review process and save both the <br />developer and staff time and dollars by clearly designating <br />developable area. The wetland delineation must be prepared by a <br />person qualified according to standards set out by the Army corps <br />of Engineers and/or Department of Natural Resources. <br />Legal notices regarding this proposed ordinance have been placed <br />in the legal newspaper and the Planning and Zoning Board has <br />recommended adoption of the ordinance. <br />Council Member Neal moved to adopt the first reading of Ordinance <br />No. 93 - 06 Amending the Subdivision Ordinance by Requiring the <br />PAGE 19 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
