1 <br />1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />Staff members present: City Administrator, Randy Schumacher; Public Works <br />Director, Don Volk; Assistant to the City Administrator, Dan Tesch. <br />FIRE CHIEF REPORT <br />Centennial Fire Chief Milo Bennett came before the City Council to clear up what in <br />his opinion may not be totally accurate comments made by Mr. Joe Graft with regard <br />to the differences in ambulance service between Health 1 and District Memorial <br />Hospital. Chief Bennett did not feel that there existed a dramatic difference in the <br />level of service provided to Lino Lakes. Mayor Reinert thanked Chief Bennett for his <br />input. Mayor Reinert added that a more indepth study would be undertaken in order <br />for the residents to receive the best possible service. <br />CITY SIGN <br />Staff informed the council that a proposal had been received from Mr. Rick Juleen to <br />refurbish a used sign from the Centennial School District. The sign is proposed to be <br />installed in front of city hall. <br />Mr. Volk was requested to get a second quote from Northland Signs. The council <br />would take action once the addition information was available. <br />BUILDING INSPECTION DEPARTMENT <br />Mr. Schumacher informed the council that a tentative agreement had been reached <br />with the City of North Oaks to provide 12 hours/week of code enforcement. This <br />would allow us keep Mr. Tom Jackson working in our inspection department. Mayor <br />Reinert questioned whether any overhead had been built into the figure we are <br />proposing for North Oaks. Mr. Schumacher stated that overhead had been <br />
