CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 15-05 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS 2015 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (SHENANDOAH AREA) WHEREAS, The City proposes to undertake certain street reconstruction and related upgrades of the existing storm water management system designated as the Shenandoah Area Improvements in the City's Five -Year Street Reconstruction Plan (2015-2019) (the "Shenandoah Area Improvements"); and WHEREAS, the proposition for the issuance of bonds to finance the proposed improvements was submitted to the voters of the City at a special election held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014; and WHEREAS, said election was approved and the Council finds it is in the best interests of the City to construct such improvements as proposed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. The 2015 Street Reconstruction Project (Shenandoah Area) is hereby ordered as proposed. 2. WSB and Associates, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. City staff is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with WSB and Associates, Inc., in the amount of $198,798.00. Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12h day of January, 2015. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: The following voted against same: Jeff Reinert, Mayor ATTEST: Julianne Bartell, City Clerk Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 3
