Mr. 'd no, the liability would be no <br />greater than if an employee is injured • • • ! in the staff car. <br />JOINT MEETING, CITY 0 " , : T ` OF CENTERVILLE AND CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES <br />A joint meeting h • - • b City of Lino Lakes was set for February 8, 1996 at 7:00 <br />p.m. at the Lino L <br />1. <br />PROPOSED AME `' i MENTS TO THE CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT JOINT <br />POWERS AGREEMENT, CHIEF MILO BENNETT <br />The first proposed amendment involves the need to adjust the number of Fire Steering <br />Committee members required for a quorum. Currently five (5) of the six (6) members <br />have to be present for a quorum. The Steering Committee is proposing that four (4) of the <br />six (6) Committee members be present to constitute a quorum including at least one <br />member from each city. <br />The second proposed amendment involves funding of the Fire District. The current <br />formula for determining how much each city pays toward the annual budget called the <br />Balancing Formula -is not working. A meeting was held with the City Administrators to <br />discuss this matter. It was their recommendation that the Balancing Formula be abolished <br />and each city be reimbursed for overpayments for the last four (4) years. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
