1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />DATE <br />TIME STARTED <br />TIME ENDED <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />JANUARY 22, 1996 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />: January 22, 1996 <br />. 6:30 P.M. <br />. 9:55 P.M. <br />: Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers <br />: None <br />Staff Members present: City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; City Engineer, David Ahrens; <br />Consulting Engineers, Steve Heth, SEH and Tim Murphy, OSM; Assistant to the City <br />Administrator, Dan Tesch; Building Official, Pete Kluegel; Mary LaForest, Community <br />Development Assistant; Fire Chief, Milo Bennett; Accountant, Paula Schloer. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Margaret Langfeld, Anoka County Commissioner - Commissioner Langfeld explained <br />that she was here to present a check in the amount of $269,4.88.00 to the City. She said <br />this check represents the final payment to the City for the construction of Apollo Drive. <br />Commissioner Langfeld explained that Anoka County was very happy to be able to enter <br />into a joint powers agreement for the construction of that roadway. Since Anoka County <br />did not have money in their budget for construction of Apollo Drive, the City paid for the <br />roadway and then turned responsibility of the roadway over to Anoka County who fully <br />repaid the City for all costs. <br />Mayor Landers thanked Commissioner Langfeld for the check. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />January 8, 1996 - Council Member Neal moved to approve these minutes as presented. <br />Council Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />December 11, 1995 - Council Member Neal moved to approve these minutes as <br />presented. Council Member Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion carried with <br />Council Member Lyden and Mayor Landers abstaining. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
