1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 14, 1994 <br />................................... <br />................................... <br />................................... <br />................................... <br />TIME >`>STAR <br />.................:................. <br />................................... <br />................................... <br />T>IME>ETD <br />................................... <br />................................... <br />................................... <br />................................... <br />MEMBERS P <br />Staff members present: City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; Acting City <br />Engineer, John Powell; Parks and Recreation Director, Marty <br />Asleson; Chief of Police, David Pecchia; City Administrator, <br />Randy Schumacher and Clerk -Treasurer Marilyn Anderson. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />Council Member Bergeson asked that consideration of changing the <br />last meeting in December from December 26, 1994 to December 19, <br />1994 be added under New Business. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />There were no items under the consent agenda. <br />REGULAR AGENDA <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Kathleen Strombeck, Cherokee State Bank - Ms. Strombeck <br />introduced herself and explained that a branch of the Cherokee <br />State Bank is being constructed at the northeast corner of <br />Highway 96 and Highway 49 in Shoreview. She explained that the <br />location was selected because of its central location. Cherokee <br />State Bank is a full service bank and is very active in the <br />community as a provider of grants and benevolent actions. Ms. <br />Strombeck explained that the bank "embraces" real estate lending <br />and other services in the area of land development. Ms. <br />Strombeck was asked why the bank did not locate in Lino Lakes. <br />Ms. Stromberg explained that a central location was desired. <br />Mayor Reinert thanked Ms. Strombeck for coming this evening. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
