A special meeting may be needed for Council review of the EAW. <br />Agenda Item No. 5, Continuation of Public Hearing, Improvement of 12th <br />Avenue/Holly Drive - Mayor Landers noted the recent change in plans for the Walseth <br />property and asked if utility stubs were available to serve the property. Staff explained <br />that plans for utilities for Trapper's Crossing could be altered to allow this connection. <br />A meeting was held last Friday with the developer of Trapper's Crossing, his attorney, his <br />spokes person, the City Attorney, and the City Engineer. Mr. Hokanson was told that he <br />is responsible for an additional $60,000 to $70,000 in funding for the reconstruction of <br />12th Avenue/Holly Drive. <br />Staff explained that if Council feels more information is needed prior to the public <br />hearing, Mr. Hokanson would need to provide a written agreement to extending the <br />deadline for Council action. Council was given a packet of information <br />regarding this issue. <br />Council discussed the matter and directed staff to obtain an opinion from the City <br />Attorney. <br />Staff was directed to place a notice in the Quad Press to let the public know when the first <br />reading of the proposed ordinance is scheduled. <br />THE COUNCIL RECESSED THE WORK SESSION MEETING AND <br />INTERVIEWED MR.
