• <br />• <br />• <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 25, 1996 <br />DATE <br />TIME STARTED <br />TIME ENDED <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />: March 25, 1996 <br />. 5:30 P.M. <br />. 5:58 P.M. <br />: Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers <br />: None <br />Staff members present: Clerk -Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson <br />The purpose of the special meeting was to consider annual appointments to the Planning <br />and Zoning Board, Parks and Recreation Board and the Circle Pines Utility Commission. <br />The City Council previously interviewed all candidates for these boards and commission. <br />A Checklist for Criteria for Advisory Boards form containing scores for each candidate <br />was to be completed by each Council Member. Each Council Member prepared scores for <br />each candidate for each board or commission and gave the score sheets to Mrs. Anderson <br />so that she could prepare a total sheet for each candidate. Three candidates for the <br />Planning and Zoning Board with the three highest scores would then be appointed to that <br />board. Three candidates for the Parks and Recreation Board with the three highest scores <br />would be appointed to that board. The one candidate with the highest score for the Circle <br />Pines Utility Commission would be appointed to this commission. <br />Each Council Member gave Mrs. Anderson their score sheets and she prepared the final <br />tally. The following three candidates for the Planning and Zoning Board received the <br />three highest scores: <br />Gene Lane <br />Judi Braun <br />Caroline Dahl <br />The following three candidates for the Parks and Recreation Board received the three <br />highest scores: <br />Paul Montain <br />George Lindy <br />Joe Schmidt <br />PAGE 1 <br />
