SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 29,1996 <br />• Mayor Landers welcomed Northern Wholesale to Lino Lakes noting that they will be a <br />great asset to the City. <br />• <br />CONSIDERATION OF A SITE PLAN FOR EMTECK, 400 APOLLO DRIVE <br />BRIAN WESSEL/MARY KAY WYLAND <br />Emtech, Inc. is one of the first businesses to locate in the Apollo Business Center. They <br />do custom manufacturing, plastic molding and precision machining. Their employee base <br />is 28 people. <br />Mr. Wessel noted that Mr. Marvin Peterson, owner of Emtech is out of town. Mr. <br />Eckberg, project architect was present to answer questions about the proposal. <br />Emtech is requesting a site plan review to allow the construction of a 5400 square foot <br />plastic shop addition and a 3600 square foot machine shop addition. The property is <br />zoned Light Industrial and contains 2.18 acres. The City's Comprehensive Land Use Plan <br />indicates the site as Industrial. <br />EDAB has reviewed the request and is recommending aPpr TIF is not <br />proposed for the construction. <br />Ms. Wyland presented the site plan review an Planning and Zoning Board <br />recommended approval with seven (7) condif Rice Creek Watershed District has <br />also reviewed the site plan and has pro • •royal. <br />Mr. Eckberg explained that thportion of the business has exploded. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. <br />CONSIDERATION OF A DISBURSEMENT FOR WELL HOUSE NO. 4, DAVID <br />AHRENS <br />Mills Concrete, the contractor for Well House No. 4 is requesting payment. The request <br />has been presented as outlined in the project schedule. Since there is three (3) weeks <br />between regular Council meetings, this payment request is being submitted at this time. <br />Council Member Neal moved to approve the disbursement to Mills Concrete of <br />$111,557.55. Council Member Kuether seconded the motion.
