The national event in August will
attract anywhere from 1000 to 3000 people and 300 to 600 cars.
Staff explained that an Event Permit would outline all of the issues that need to be
addressed such as sanitation, parking, safety issues and insurance before the permit is
issued.
Staff was directed to see that the proper permit application was given to Ms. Rivard and
all areas of the application addressed.
REGULAR AGENDA
There were no further questions on the regular agenda.
CIRCUS, COUNCIL MEMBER NEAL
A circus will be held on the Rehbein property next to Schwan's Ice Cream on Lake Drive.
The Lino Lakes Lions Club is selling tickets and providing the advertising for this event.
CLINTON COPS GRANT
The Lino Lakes Police Department has been awarded a Clinton COPS Grant. We are the
only City in this area to receive this grant.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:04 p.m.
These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at a regular meeting of the City
Council on September 27, 1999.
Marilyn G.
