She will prepare the newspaper item for next weeks Quad <br />Press and give Council a copy before it is sent to the newspaper. <br />DISCUSSION OF CHARTER BALLOT QUESTION, PAUL MONTAIN <br />Mr. Montain, Chairman of the Charter Commission, told Council that he was pleased that <br />the Council is proceeding with a ballot question for street reconstruction in the Lakes <br />Addition area. He noted that the Charter Commission had some concerns about the <br />wording of the ballot question. The wording appears to be a request for a "blanket" <br />approval of street reconstruction and not for this one specific area. The Charter <br />Commission is requesting that the ballot question be worded to specifically ask for citizen <br />approval to spend $1,900,000 to reconstruct the streets in the Lakes Addition area only. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
