Concept approval <br />of the plan is need before estimates can be determined. <br />Council Member Lyden asked if a new police station can be constructed without an <br />impact on the tax payers and are there other tax impacts outside of this project. Mr. <br />Wessel explained that the project is going to provide more tax base because construction <br />of the building will attract other development. <br />The meeting was moved to the Senior Center at 7:25 p.m. <br />Mr. Schumacher noted the comments from a number of the staff and Council about <br />parking lot safety at both the city hall and the police station. Mayor L •ressed <br />strong concern about their condition. Mr. Schumacher explained t f is ing badly <br />about some of the comments made by Council. They can onl w he <br />resources they have.
