DISCUSSION OF A WELLNESS PROGRAM, BA Mr. Bernstein and Ms. Schloer outlined a propo the program would positively impact the W Workers Compensation factor (experience fee for this coverage. All interested employees are screened and their health risk factors are determined. The employees exchange some of their accumulated sick days for membership in a health club. These employees are re-evaluated at the end of the year. This plan is similar to the plan in Moundsview. Ms. Schloer and Mr. Bernstein asked Council for their support. Written options for the Council to consider were given to the Council. This matter will be on the February 5, 1997 work session agenda. PAGE 1
