Council Member Lyden said he felt it was nice to have the commercial <br />zoning, however, the property should be taxed according to its use. Mr. Smith noted that <br />Ms. Ramsden can allow her property to go tax forfeit. She would have up to six (6) years <br />to redeem it. <br />Mr. Smith said that he will get all the rules and regulations pertaining to special credits <br />and then meet with Ms. Ramsden and her daughter. He also noted that if the matter is not <br />solved, she can attend the Anoka County Board of Equalization in June. Council <br />Member Kuether asked for feedback regarding Ms. Ramsden's property. <br />Dean and Phyllis Richardson, 7129 Ivy Ridge Lane - Mr. Richardson asked why his <br />taxes are so high. Mr. Smith explained that this meeting is about the value that has been <br />placed on his property. His records indicate that the Richardson's have lived in their <br />home longer and the unit was further along towards completion than some of the other <br />units. <br />Mr. Smith explained that he will send the City Clerk a listing of all the property owners <br />who have contacted him asking him to review their property value. <br />Council Member Neal moved to adjourn at 7:32 p.m.. Council Member Lyden seconded <br />the motion.
