COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 18, 1997 <br />CONSIDER INSTALLATION OF SPRINKLER SYSTEMS AT WELL HOUSE <br />NO. 3 AND WELL HOUSE NO. 4, DAVE AHRENS <br />Mr. Ahrens proposed that lawn sprinkler systems be installed at the two (2) new well <br />houses. Both well houses are located in residential areas and the lawns should be kept as <br />other lawns in the area are kept by the homeowners. A sprinkler system would allow City <br />staff to program lawn sprinkling and keep unsightly hoses off of the lawns. <br />Mr. Ahrens will discuss this matter with Mr. Tim Hillesheim, lead worker in the Utility <br />Department. <br />STATUS OF NEW WATER TOWER, DAVID AHRENS <br />Staff explained that the new water tower located east of I -35E will besoon as <br />the bacteria test results are known. <br />Mr. Ahrens was asked how the location of the logo on th a� a ���r is '�rmined. <br />He explained that it is oriented toward the south so t.t tr c _e on I -35E will <br />notice it. A <br />concept plan for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts No. 1 and No. 2 will be <br />presented at the EDA meeting Monday evening. Staff was asked how many Light <br />Industrial (LI) acres are located on the west side of Lake Drive. Staff explained 40 acres. <br />Council asked that minutes from all EDA meetings be given to them. <br />PAGE 4 <br />
