COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 18, 1997 CONSIDER INSTALLATION OF SPRINKLER SYSTEMS AT WELL HOUSE NO. 3 AND WELL HOUSE NO. 4, DAVE AHRENS Mr. Ahrens proposed that lawn sprinkler systems be installed at the two (2) new well houses. Both well houses are located in residential areas and the lawns should be kept as other lawns in the area are kept by the homeowners. A sprinkler system would allow City staff to program lawn sprinkling and keep unsightly hoses off of the lawns. Mr. Ahrens will discuss this matter with Mr. Tim Hillesheim, lead worker in the Utility Department. This item will be on the June 23, 1997 regular Council agenda. REGULAR AGENDA Economic Development Authority (EDA) Meeting - 6:15 p.m., June 23, 1997. A concept plan for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts No. 1 and No. 2 will be presented at the EDA meeting Monday evening. Staff was asked how many Light Industrial (LI) acres are located on the west side of Lake Drive. Staff explained 40 acres. Council asked that minutes from all EDA meetings be given to them. PAGE 4
