RESHANAU LAKE TRAIL, COUNCIL MEMBER BERGESON Council Member Bergeson noted that a new subdivision has been constructed beside a trail that has existed on the north side of Reshanau Lake for years. There is documentation that Mr. Uhde, the developer, has said that this trail would never be cut- off. He asked staff to prepare a status report on the trail and a recommendation that would secure the location of this trail. Mr. Asleson explained that he had discussions with homeowners in t was close to an agreement on the trail. Mr. Asleson was directed to bring a s • ort to the next work session. Staff is proposing to switch to :`This proposal would reduce staff time and provide more Mr. Ahrens explained that Mr. Jim Norton, SEH has prepared an outline of three (3) automated systems. The Council was given a copy of Mr. Norton's presentation and reviewed the options. After further discussion, staff was directed to research the cost to convert to an automated system and determine the number of staff hours that would be saved. Council directed that at a minimum, new homes should be outfitted with the new system immediately upon approval of the system. Mr. Ahrens will bring additional information to the next work session.
