There is <br />documentation that Mr. Uhde, the developer, has said that this trail would never be cut- <br />off. He asked staff to prepare a status report on the trail and a recommendation that would <br />secure the location of this trail. <br />Mr. Asleson explained that he had discussions with homeowners in t was <br />close to an agreement on the trail. The Council was given a copy of Mr. Norton's presentation and <br />reviewed the options. <br />After further discussion, staff was directed to research the cost to convert to an automated <br />system and determine the number of staff hours that would be saved. Council directed <br />that at a minimum, new homes should be outfitted with the new system immediately <br />upon approval of the system. <br />Mr. Ahrens will bring additional information to the next work session. <br />Page 3 <br />
