This includes damaged trees and trees blocking the sight -line on right-of-ways. <br />• <br />• <br />- Establish a site where residents can bring only storm damaged trees for disposal. <br />Mr. Asleson will prepare options for the Council to consider and keep the Council <br />updated on this matter. <br />RESHANAU LAKE TRAIL, COUNCIL MEMBER BERGESON <br />Council Member Bergeson noted that a new subdivision has been constructed beside a <br />trail that has existed on the north side of Reshanau Lake for years. There is <br />documentation that Mr. Uhde, the developer, has said that this trail would never be cut- <br />off. He asked staff to prepare a status report on the trail and a recommendation that would <br />secure the location of this trail. <br />Mr. Asleson explained that he had discussions with homeowners in t was <br />close to an agreement on the trail. Staff is proposing to switch to <br />:`This proposal would reduce staff time and provide more <br />Mr. Ahrens explained that Mr. Jim Norton, SEH has prepared an outline of three (3) <br />automated systems. The Council was given a copy of Mr. Norton's presentation and <br />reviewed the options. <br />After further discussion, staff was directed to research the cost to convert to an automated <br />system and determine the number of staff hours that would be saved. Council directed <br />that at a minimum, new homes should be outfitted with the new system immediately <br />upon approval of the system. <br />Mr. Ahrens will bring additional information to the next work session. <br />Page 3 <br />
