• • COUNCIL WORK SESSION APRIL 8,1998 The Joyce's own property northeast of the intersection of Main Street and 4th Avenue. They are experiencing more flooding than normal since the culvert under Main Street was replaced by the County. It also appears that the culvert is plugged further aggravating the problem. Mrs. Joyce is asking the City to unplug the culvert. Staff will ask the County Highway Department to unplug the culvert. ANNUAL LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES MEETING, MARILYN ANDERSON Staff provided the information regarding the annual League of Cities meeting. Council was asked to let staff know if they plan to attend that meeting. Staff will make the hotel reservations and register the Council Members. DISCUSSION REGARDING APPOINTING JEAN VIGER DAVE PECCHIA Recently Ms. Viger was appointed Deputy Clerk an asst d . t duties. She is now asking for a reconsideration of her salary s re . ched her position and has determined that she is already earni verage salary for her position. Council directed staff to determine s . ding up the process and get it going as fast as possible so that the Council can a new City Administrator by August 1, 1998.
