• Council Member Lyden <br />adoption: <br />• <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 115 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - <br />1998 WEAR COURSE AND TRAIL PAVING PROJECT, PHASE TWO, STREET AND <br />UTILITY CONSTRUCTION. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 1998 Wear <br />Course and Trail Paving Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />Company Bid Amount <br />North Valley, Inc. <br />Midwest Asphalt Corp. <br />$ 235,414.00 <br />$ 349,783.10 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that North Valley, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1 The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />North Valley, Inc., 4105 85th Avenue North, Suite 203, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443, in <br />the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 1998 Wear Course and <br />Trial Paving Project, according to the plans and specifications approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
