<br />Council Member Bergeson moved to accept a letter of resignation from Officer Willie Koch, as
<br />presented. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
<br />OLD BUSINESS - None
<br />NEW BUSINESS
<br />Mr. DeGardner stated 1.6 million dollars has been granted to Anoka County for the Rice Creek
<br />Chain of Lakes Regional Park. A concept plan is being developed and will be ready for review
<br />by late March. Completion of Phase One of the park is planned for the summer or fall of 2000.
<br />Mr. DeGardner stated that this is a passive park, which means only 20% will be developed for
<br />recreation. The natural resources in the park reserve will not be disturbed.
