• <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MARCH 3, 1999 <br />CLEARWATER CREEK UPDATE, PHASE III, BRIAN WESSEL <br />Brian stated the Clearwater Creek plan has now gone through the Environmental Board <br />and Park Board. The plan goes before the Planning and Zoning Board next week. The <br />plan will go before the Council on March 22, 1999. <br />Brian noted the plan requires a rezone and additional MUSA which will require a 4/5 <br />vote. <br />CONDITIONAL JOB OFFER TO CSO, KELLY MCCARTHY, DAVE PECCHIA <br />Dave stated there is one vacancy in the Police Department. The plan is to fill the vacancy <br />with a CSO. The Department would like to offer the position to Kelly McCarthy. <br />However, Kelly McCarthy will not be taking the post license test until' August, 1999. <br />Dave requested Council approve a conditional job offer to Kelly McCarthy ^continent on <br />successful completion of a skills test, license test, and extensive backgroundheck <br />including a physical and psychological test. <br />This item will appear on the regular agenda Monday. March:8. 1999. <br />DISCUSS ANNUAL BOARD ANI/C0 MITTEE APPOINTMENTS, DAN <br />TESCH <br />Dan stated that all ap lnttnents have been made except to the Parks Board, <br />Environmental B e a . , ening and Zoning Board, and Economic Development <br />Committee. Dan '•'ver the applicants for each board and committee. <br />It was the conscnsus of Council to have staff put together a regular ballot. Council <br />Members will meet to vote on Monday, March 8, 1999, 5:30 p.m. to discuss the <br />candidates. <br />Y2K UPDATE, DAN TESCH <br />Dan passed out a copy of the checklist that is going out to all departments. He stated that <br />all hardware, software, and equipment that was purchased in the last few years is Y2K <br />compliant. Any merchandise that is not compliant will be replaced or updated this year. <br />Dan added that a notice regarding Y2K compliance will be in the newsletter. <br />CONTINUE HOFF COLLECTION OF FIDELITY BOND, DAN TESCH <br />
