OVER 3 miles of important trail <br />segments were completed including Ware Road and Clearwater Creek. <br />A new Trail System Map was produced and is available for all citizens. <br />To support the Park efforts, a Park Naming Ordinance was established, as were <br />policies for trail snow plowing and a system for vandalism reporting and tracking. <br />In the Recreation area one half-time staff was added with a specific focus on teen <br />programs and one-time events. Participation in youth programmed activities rose <br />50% from 97 to 98, and adult participation rose 45% during that same time frame. <br />If everything goes according to plan, the citizens will have the opportunity to <br />decide on the development of an athletic complex for the city this fall. <br />8 <br />• <br />• <br />
