CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION APRIL 21,1999 • Mayor Sullivan called for a 10 minute recess at 8:05 p.m. • It was noted that meeting minutes from all City Boards will be distributed to the Council Members. DISCUSS OFFICE SPACE IN NEW CITY HALL FOR MAYOR AND COUNCIL MAYOR SULLIVAN It appears that the Lino Lakes City Council is the only Council that does not have office space at city hall. Office space is needed to conduct business and meet with constituents. It was suggested that the work session room in the new city hall be used for Council office space. The office would be equipped with a coat rack, phone, storage space, calculators, and general office supplies. Keys to this room will be issued to all Council Members. It was not determined if the Council mailboxes will be located in this room. Item 6B, Consideration of Amended Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan Review for Circle -Lex VFW Post 6583, 7868 Lake Drive - Ms. Wyland noted the applicant would prefer to delete condition No. 4, relating to replacing the entire roof of the old building. Council directed Ms. Wyland to contact the representative from the VFW regarding clarification of all conditions. Item 6K, Consideration of Conditional Use Permit, Eller Media Company, for nine (9) Advertising Signs (I -35E) - Staff will confer with the City Attorney regarding the legality of denying the one year extension based on the current Zoning Ordinance. This item will be pulled from the agenda if the City Attorney needs more time for his review.
