CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MAY 19, 1999 It was noted that the City would not own the buffer between the homes and the pond. Council directed staff to determine how often City representatives should inspect the buffer to insure compliance with the conditions placed on the buffer. Mr. Steve Arndorfer, Developer for the project, advised the existing home would be demolished. He indicated he would try to eliminate any shared driveways. Council Member Dahl advised she would still like to see R -1X frontages. Council directed staff to remove the verbiage in the staff report regarding shared driveways. DISCUSS VICKY LANE APPRAISALS, JOHN POWELL Staff distributed a letter the City received from a resident on Vicky Lane requesting an appraisal, to be paid by the City, of their property with City sanitary sewer and municipal water. The resident is in the process of selling his home and would like to be honest about the costs of City utilities. Staff indicated support for the request. A feasibility study for Vicky Lane has been initiated. The City will need several appraisals for the area. Council directed staff to order the appraisals for Vicky Lane. 4
