CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MAY 19, 1999 <br />It was noted that the City would not own the buffer between the homes and the pond. <br />Council directed staff to determine how often City representatives should inspect the <br />buffer to insure compliance with the conditions placed on the buffer. <br />Mr. Steve Arndorfer, Developer for the project, advised the existing home would be <br />demolished. He indicated he would try to eliminate any shared driveways. <br />Council Member Dahl advised she would still like to see R -1X frontages. <br />Council directed staff to remove the verbiage in the staff report regarding shared <br />driveways. <br />This item will appear on the agenda at the regular Council meeting Monday, May 24, <br />1999. <br />LIQUOR ORDINANCE UPDATE, JEFF SMSYER <br />Staff distributed a memo outlining the proposed changes in th <br />discussed the questions Council had at the May 10, 1999, <br />Council to make a determination regarding the optio =, . el <br />It was the consensus of Council to include he <br />Leave the separation at <br />from the definition <br />ce and <br />taff asked <br />ool Definition. <br />n in the Liquor Ordinance: <br />the early childhood learning center <br />Council directed mit' • make sure the new liquor fees are in place before <br />the Town Center is iquor license. <br />This item will app on the agenda at the regular Council meeting Monday, May 24, <br />1999. <br />DISCUSS VICKY LANE APPRAISALS, JOHN POWELL <br />Staff distributed a letter the City received from a resident on Vicky Lane requesting an <br />appraisal, to be paid by the City, of their property with City sanitary sewer and municipal <br />water. The resident is in the process of selling his home and would like to be honest <br />about the costs of City utilities. <br />Staff indicated support for the request. A feasibility study for Vicky Lane has been <br />initiated. The City will need several appraisals for the area. <br />Council directed staff to order the appraisals for Vicky Lane. <br />4 <br />
