COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 14, 1999
surpassed the reserve policy requirements by $300,874. It was the consensus of the City Council
that dollars be allocated in a way as outlined in Resolution No. 99 - 35. At that time, $27,444
was listed as unreserved and undesignated.
The City Council has now decided to designate the additional $27,444 for parks and trail
improvements.
Council Member Bergeson noted that the Council had discussed a list of other purchases
including a generator for the Lino Lakes Fire Station. He felt this was also a top priority. The
excess funds would not cover the entire cost of a generator; however, it is possible the Fire
District could find the additional dollars.
Council Member Lyden moved to adopt Resolution No. 99 - 46, as presented. Council Member
Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried with Council Member Bergeson voting no.
PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER
Consideration of Resolution No. 99 - 43, Amending AWAIR (Safety
following changes have been proposed by the Lino Lakes Safety C
Douglas Holm from Berkley Risk Services:
nd Rules) - The
bers and Mr.
New Name: AWAIR Program - "A Workp cc
0
Material added to the program includes i
1. Mr. Meyer has 12 years
experience in other building maintenance positions.
The position provides for a salary of $14.50 per hour plus benefits and is eligible for membership
in the 49er's Union.
