• <br />• <br />• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 14, 1999 <br />This is a new City position specifically recreated because of the new equipment and technology <br />required for maintaining the new civic center buildings. <br />Council Member Lyden moved to hire Mr. Meyer as Building Maintenance Technician. Council <br />Member Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of Hiring Public Works -General Maintenance Worker - Staff recommended <br />that Mr. Robert Boldt be considered for the General Maintenance -Streets position. <br />The position provides for a salary of $13.76 per hour plus benefits and is eligible for membership <br />in the 49er's Union. A physical examination and drug test will be required prior to Mr. Boldt's <br />start date. Mr. Boldt is available to begin work on June 29, 1999. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to hire Mr. Boldt as a General Maintenance -Street Employee <br />subject to a satisfactory physical examination and drug test. Council Member Dahl seconded the <br />motion.
