• • CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 23, 1999 Mayor Sullivan asked for an update regarding the date of a joint meeting with the Council, Environmental Board, and Steve Afflebaum. The City Planner has been asked to tell the property owner that if the requested information is not submitted, the hockey rink must be removed. Council will be updated on this matter. AMERICAN LEGION LAND PURCHASE UPDATE, BRIAN WESSEL The development plan for the American Legion Club will go before the Planning and Zoning Board July 14, 1999. Mr. Smyser has met with the Legion Club and has outlined the items needed to complete the application. Council Member's Lyden, Dahl, and Neal were in support of the Legion's offer for the property. Council Member Bergeson and Mayor Sullivan expressed concern and noted that an additional discount on the selling price would have to be justified. • Mayor Sullivan called for a short recess.
