COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 23, 1999 <br />The City coordinates extensively with Anoka County regarding land use and transportation <br />issues. The City's Comprehensive Transportation Plan supports the improvement of the I- <br />35W/Lake Drive interchange. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to adopt Resolution No. 99 - 59, as presented. Council <br />Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 99 - 59 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />Resolution No. 99 - 60, Approval of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to <br />Advertise for Bids 77th Street Utility Extension, John Powell - At the August 9, 1999, City <br />Council meeting, the plans and specifications for this project were ordered. This project was <br />initiated in response to a property owner on 77th Street who requested City utility service. City <br />sanitary sewer and watermain has been extended to the east side of the Lake Drive/77th Street <br />intersection as part of the Lake Drive Trunk Utility improvement project. Council Member <br />d unanimously. <br />d at the end of these minutes. <br />PORT, RICK DEGARDNER <br />PUBLIC SERVICES <br />Consideration of Special Event Permit, Sandburr Days, Circle -Lex Lions Club - Sandburr <br />Days is an annual event held by the Circle -Lex Lions Club at Sunrise Park. This year Sandburr <br />Days will be held on September 10 - 12. This annual event requires a special event permit, 3.2 <br />beer license, and a cabaret license. Staff noted all necessary fees have been paid. <br />Council Member Neal moved to approve the Special Events Application, 3.2 Beer License, and <br />Cabaret License for Sandburr Days, as presented. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of Receiving Bids and Awarding Playground Equipment - Behm's Century <br />Farm Park - On Tuesday, July 29, 1999, bids were opened for the Behm's Century Farm Park <br />playground equipment project. <br />4 <br />
