CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION NOVEMBER 17, 1999 <br />Staff advised a deal has not yet been made relating to this project. Discussions have been <br />held about the possibility of a Master Planner coming in for the northern quadrant of the <br />Town Center. If the property were looked at as a whole the private road is not an issue. <br />McDonald's has committed to the City that a restaurant will be developed in the Town <br />Center either this fall or next spring. <br />WENZEL FARM PLAT (LINO LAKES/HUGO), JOHN POWELL <br />Staff advised approval for the preliminary plat has been received. The developer within <br />the City of Hugo has therefore asked for water service from Lino Lakes. Staff will be <br />reviewing the request and a recommendation will be brought back to Council in <br />December 1999. The benefit of providing water service is the interconnection of water to <br />the City of Hugo that will be funded by Hugo and could be used as a future emergency <br />interconnection. <br />GENERAL FUND CONTRIBUTION TO THE CITY RECO FUND, <br />DAN TESCH <br />Staff distributed a memo regarding the Employee/Volunt� ' ; on Dinner and the <br />costs associated to the dinner. The contribution per el 1.00. The dinner has <br />been scheduled for January 22, 2000. <br />The purpose of the dinner is to thank <br />celebrate the City's accomplishme <br />Council Members and Board <br />it service over the past year, <br />rees and acknowledge the service of <br />It was the consensus of th. etirees should not make a contribution for the <br />dinner. <br />Staff advised no fo a ion is necessary regarding this issue. <br />REGULAR AGENDA, NOVEMBER 22,1999 <br />There were no changes to the regular agenda. <br />INTERVIEW FOR NEW APPLICANT FOR ADVISORY COMMITTEES <br />Staff advised EDAC has requested special meetings. The next schedule meeting is <br />December 2, 1999. It is possible a meeting will be held on November 23, 1999. There <br />are three (3) slots that are open with four (4) candidates. Three (3) of the candidates are <br />asking for reappointment. There is one new candidate that is very qualified. <br />• Council determined current Council Members will conduct a performance review for the <br />City Administrator. The new Council will set the goals for the City Administrator. The <br />
