• • CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JANUARY 5, 2000 REGULAR AGENDA, JANUARY 10, 2000 Item 3F, PUBLIC HEARING, on Community Development Block Grant Funds — Staff will provide information regarding the dollar amounts granted last year. Mayor Bergeson requested information from the City Attorney relating to the legal position of the City if an initial vote receives 4/5 and the second vote does not. He also requested Council Members indicate which way they will be voting before the vote is taken. This will allow an applicant to withdraw the application. Item 6A, Highland Meadows, PDO Amendment, Rezoning, Preliminary Plat Amendment — Council requested a year end summary of the City's housing inventory. The summary will be included in the Friday update if possible. Council also requested the number of building permits issued in 1999. Council Member Dahl requested Mr. Al Brixius attend the Council work session Wednesday, January 19, 2000. She asked that he address the situation at Trappers Crossing. Staff advised they would check on his availability. Mayor Bergeson requested Council Members contact the City Administrator regarding additions to the agenda. All additions should be received by the Wednesday before each Council meeting. Staff requested Mayor Bergeson announce the candidate opening and closing date for the Council vacancy at the Council meeting. Staff advised the following should be added to the community calendar: 1. Charter Meeting, Thursday, January 13, 2000, 7:00 p.m. 2. Special Council Meeting, Thursday, January 13, 2000, 6:00 p.m., 3.
