CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MAY 3, 2000 <br />Staff advised the County needs to talk to residents directly and request updates. <br />Council directed staff to set up a meeting between the County, residents, and City <br />Council to discuss the project and obtain current information. <br />Staff noted the latest project expansion was very recent and due to available funds. <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, JEFF SMYSER <br />Staff advised a special Council meeting be scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2000, 7:00 a.m. <br />The purpose of the meeting is to continue the review of the inventory. <br />Council determined staff would not be present for the meeting. If Council Members have <br />any specific questions, they can list the questions and give to staff. <br />TOWN CENTER STANDARDS UPDATE, JEFF SMYSER <br />Staff advised a public hearing regarding the design standard <br />the last Planning and Zoning Board meeting. Staff advised they would keep the <br />OTTER LAKE R I , D UPDATE, JOHN POWELL & DICK SCHREIER <br />Staff referred to a map pointing out the alignment of Otter Lake Road with access to be <br />provided by a service road. Staff advised that a couple of years ago the City agreed to <br />delay construction to allow Mr. Schreier to select an alignment. The City recently <br />received a request from the Lino Lakes State Bank for the property compelling the City to <br />put in a portion of the road to provide an access for the bank. <br />Staff advised a meeting be held with Mr. Schreier and other nearby property owners <br />regarding access options of the entire area. Staff advised they need to confer with the <br />City Attorney regarding the options. The immediate concern is how to construct a piece <br />of the service road to gain access for the bank. <br />
